So I am sure you will fogive my complete lack of crafting this week. I have done very little, I have lacked the motivation and have been too easily distracted. The domestic goddess has taken a bit of a backseat and been replaced by the huffing, puffing, fed up, too hot, too tired, too uncomfortable pregnant whale. Tim did have the nerve to say the other day that the next baby will have to be a winter one so i'm not heavily pregnant in the summer again. I'm sure you don't need to hear my response to that statement. Suffice it to say he has more chance of getting a Nobel prize for literature, a euromillions lottery win of over 100 million, and an invitation to stay at Buck House all in the same week than having another child with me!
The only one who's been doing anything remotely domestic goddess like this week has been the Flip Flop, who made chocolate fudge muffins with Grandma. I am not sure, but I think she actualy enjoyed licking the spoon afterwards more than eating the finished cakes, but isn't that the best bit anyway!
That said, I did get out my craft box this morning for a few minutes of uninterrupted making. (Cbeebies has it's uses!) Caoimhe leaves the childminder in a couple of weeks, and so I am planning to make her a little momento as a thank you. I am making a mini book to put some pictures of Caoimhe in for her, and may well plan some other little bits and pieces if I get the chance. I have made the inside pages and just need to decide which of the 45000 + pictures of Caoimhe we've taken over the last 2 yrs 8 months I would like to include.
Just a quick nudge to remind you that it's time for Handmade Monday over on Wendy's blog. Not had a chance to visit any of the blogs as yet today. Secretly hoping I won't have time at all as, no offence, but I'd rather be on the labour ward just at the moment!
Til next time!

I know exactly how you feel. My third child was THREE WEEKS LATE! Of course, he may have been right on time (for him) but you know, when the doctor gives you a due date, you have that target in your head! So, every day for 21 days I thought, "THIS WILL BE THE DAY"! I was so miserable.
Of course, there were those moments later when I thought, why was I in a hurry, he was much easier to take care of inside than outside. ;)
Anyway, I feel your pain, as they say. But, remember, pregnant women are adorable, no matter what you feel like, and when you hold that new life in your hands, all of this will just be a great story to pass down and laugh about.
God bless!
You are completely forgiven for not crafting this week, :o)
I don't expect you will doing much in the way of crafting for a little while.
Licking the spoon is the best bit of any cake making session.
Good luck and hopefully it won't be too long now.

Boo! Right, well that should do it, seriously hope that you are pushing through really soon.
Oh poor you, I totally sympathise. Three of mine were born late, one of them two and a half weeks late (can't beat Susie's 3 weeks though!).
Your baby just knows where he/she is well off!
Good luck and best wishes xxx
Poor you, you must be going out of your mind! I am sure it won't be long but baby is obviously very comfy and doesn't want to leave his/her snuggly place!!
I agree that licking the spoon & bowl is the best bit - much nicer than the cooked stuff! My mum used to have to wrestle it off me...
Am keeping my fingers crossed that you will be hearing the word 'PUSH' really soon!

I'm not suprised you havent done much this week, it's hard work being pregnant in the summer months. Both of mine were late as well so can understand your frustration. Let's hope it happens soon x
Hope you are on the labour ward soon. I'm huffing and puffing in this weather and don't have the excuse of being pregnant (I hope :S ! hehe )
