Well it's Monday again folks, and of course that can mean only one thing: it's time to see what everyone has been up to in the crafty world. So once you've finished here. have a bimble over to see Wendy at 1st Unique Gifts for Handmade Monday I will be doing, given half a chance!
Just want to make a couple of other mentions here as well today. First of all to Claire Mackaness at Beautiful Things by Claire I bought some buggy grippers from her and although I haven't yet had much chance to try them out, I am happy and looking forward to dangling Teaghan's favourite toy from them! Or my brolly if this glorious summer continues!
Claire also directed me to the Isle of Tea blog I never knew it existed, and as a 'Tea Head' am grateful for being shown! They have a giveaway at the moment as well, so have a look.
Obviously it's not been easy fitting in craftiness this week, but I did succeed to spend a couple of hours with my head in the craft box, so to speak. I had a project to finish so thought that I should make use of a 2 hour nap from Teaghan to get it done. It is a mini book for Caoimhe's childminder, as she is retiring. I wanted to give her something personal to remember Caoimhe by (as if anyone can forget Caoimhe!) and I am pleased enough with the result:

Even had time yesterday afternoon for some baking with Caoimhe. We made some green Shrek shaped biscuits :)
You'll notice that some have eyes and some don't. I forgot to put them in before they went into the oven and only managed to get a few in before they went hard!
Off to put my feet up with a brew now, as Teaghan has actually gone to sleep woop!

Sounds like things are settling down a little..maybe? I dont' know how you get anything done, to be honest, so I'm very impressed! :) Wonderful little book, I know it will be a hit. And great cookies, even without eyes. :)
